Seminar Description
Faculty and administrators are invited to join Associate Professor of English Elizabeth Catanese and Wendy Kohler, Director of the Center on Disability, for an engaging session introducing CCP’s new Disability Pedagogies Certificate program which will launch in Spring 2026. Together, we’ll celebrate the accomplishments of our inaugural cohort, who recently completed a pilot course in the series, Celebrate and Support Students with Disabilities, and explore how you can earn this valuable certification yourself. Designed to promote more inclusive classrooms, the certificate also enhances your CV, promotion portfolio, or leadership development. Be prepared for a literal twist...there will be soft pretzels! In alignment with our 60th anniversary theme—Rooted in Purpose, Roaring with Possibility: 60 Years of Students First—this session highlights how disability inclusive pedagogy plays a vital role in CCP’s continued commitment to equity and student success.
