Program Description
Institutional effectiveness, continuous improvement, and assessment are critical components of a Middle States Commission on Higher Education self-study. MSCHE places so much weight on these areas that they have incorporated assessment as a criterion for compliance under each of the seven standards for accreditation. During this session, the self-study Steering Committee co-chairs will discuss how each of the standards relate to the continuous improvement cycle: identifying goals and outcomes; gathering and analyzing data; using that analysis to implement changes; re-assessing to determine impact of those changes.
