Learning Goals
Participants will:
 
  • Attendees will become familiar with the following College policies: Policy Against Title IX Sexual Harassment, Policy Against Non-Title IX Sexual Misconduct and Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Complaint Policy.
  • Learn what conduct is considered sexual harassment and discrimination and how to avoid it.
  • Learn how to identify sexual harassment and discrimination conduct and and their reporting obligations.

Seminar Description

The College is committed to maintaining an academic and working environment free of unlawful discrimination and harassment. This training cover federal, state, and local laws that govern the College's Policy Against Title IX Sexual Harassment, Policy Against Non-Title IX Sexual Harassment and Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Complaint Policy. Attendees will receive updates on nondiscrimination laws, gain an understanding of what they can do to further the College's commitment, as well as have an opportunity to ask questions about the College's nondiscrimination policies.

NOTE: Classified and Confidential employees are REQUIRED to complete this course once every three years. Please contact the Office of Diversity and Equity (x8036) to check the date of your last training.
