Participants will:

  • Understand the importance and benefits of Canvas ePortfolios in academic and professional development.  Purchasing & Accounts Payable Policy Overview  
  • Learn how to effectively implement and integrate ePortfolios into coursework. 
  • Explore strategies to motivate and engage students in creating and maintaining their ePortfolios. 

Seminar Description 

In this session, faculty will explore the transformative potential of Canvas ePortfolios in enriching the student learning experience. The session will begin with an overview of the importance and multifaceted benefits of ePortfolios, highlighting their role in showcasing student achievements, fostering reflective learning, and supporting comprehensive assessment.  

Participants will learn practical and effective strategies for integrating ePortfolios into their courses, ensuring that students can organize their work and set personalized learning and career goals. The session will also cover methods to encourage student engagement and motivation, helping students to take ownership of their learning journey.  

Additionally, faculty will discover how ePortfolios prepare students for future opportunities by developing essential skills such as critical thinking, digital literacy, and effective communication. By the end of this session, faculty will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to implement Canvas ePortfolios effectively, ultimately empowering students to achieve more tremendous academic success and professional readiness.
