Learning Goals

Participants will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of cultural competency. 
  • Learn strategies for fostering an inclusive classroom environment. 
  • Gain skills to effectively communicate and interact with students from diverse backgrounds. 

Seminar Description 

Objective: Equip participants with tools and knowledge to enhance cultural competency and inclusivity.

Content: Understanding cultural competency. Strategies for inclusivity in the classroom and with the on-boarding process. Effective communication with diverse student populations.

Methodology: Interactive lectures, group discussions and activities case studies and role-playing.

Expected Outcomes: Increased cultural awareness and sensitivity among participants. Improved student engagement and support. Enhanced campus inclusivity and community building.

Participants will complete a pre- and post-workshop survey to assess changes in knowledge and attitudes. Follow-up sessions will be scheduled to reinforce learning.
