Participants will:

• Learn working definitions for common invisible disabilities and characteristics of learning differences.
• Learn inclusive instructional practices to support students with learning differences.
• Discover the importance of providing scaffolds and resources when creating equitable classroom experiences.

Seminar Description

The session will provide an overview of key terms relevant to invisible disabilities, address the disparities in diagnosing learning differences in African American communities and share the implications associated with diverse learners not having inclusive classroom experiences. Additionally, participants will learn instructional strategies to support students with learning differences.
