• Gain a better understanding of scholarship opportunities for students at CCP and what the application process involves
• Learn how to communicate these opportunities to students
• Will become aware that all students are eligible to apply for scholarships regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, citizenship or economic status.

Seminar Description

Disseminating information across campus concerning scholarships is an important way to help students qualify for scholarship funds. This seminar is for Faculty to learn about scholarship opportunities at CCP and how to disseminate the information to students.

Topics will include:
• Where to find information about scholarships on the web page
• Overview of available scholarships
• How to complete the scholarship application
• Importance of letters of recommendation
• How Student Tuition Services can support students
