• Introduce and review US Department of Education and PERG Learning's Family Friendly Campus Toolkit
• Gain knowledge on how to improve outcomes and conditions for parenting students and staff
• Raise awareness and increase campus dialogue about student parents
• Learn about recommended practice and supports
• Gain familiarity with case studies of institutions who have engaged in strategic planning to adapt family friendly campus toolkit recommendations 

Seminar Description

This seminar will introduce the US Department of Education and PERG Learning's Family Friendly Campus Toolkit. This toolkit is an award-winning self-assessment system and guide for improving supports and outcomes for students who are raising children. Together, we will examine action items and best practices utilized from the toolkit and institutions of higher education to support parenting students and staff.
