- Gain information about policy updates affecting students in Foster Care
- Understand how college professionals can support students at Community College of Philadelphia who have experience in Foster Care
Seminar Description
The Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership in partnership with the Juvenile Law Center will present information about the current state of system-involved youth in Foster Care and Higher Education. This is part of an ongoing Campus Support Champion Training Series where participants will earn a certificate for completing one or more of this academic year's series. Participants are deemed a Campus Support Champion when they are equipped with the knowledge to support students with experience in Foster Care as part of the larger resource referral program, Fostering Caring Connections, led by the Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership. Join us for an insightful presentation and leave with knowledge and power to help students with experience in Foster Care.
