I’m originally from the country of Nigeria. I didn’t have it in mind to come to CCP at first. My brother in law said I should come here. I have a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nigeria-Soka, but I got it more than 10 years ago. Out of curiosity, I took the placement test and found myself here.

I’m now a Biology major and so far I’ve earned 49 credits. I’ve been through quite a lot of things—having my family turn their back on me, homelessness, even struggling with some of my courses. But, I would say I have no regrets of me being here. The College has helped me. I’ve worked in the Office of Student Life. Dr. Curry was able to help me through homelessness and now I live with my sister in Philadelphia.
