Students will be given prompts to help lead a conversation around the recent passing of the Crown Act and their own personal hair journey.
Questions would be “What messages did you learn about your hair growing up?”, “Have you ever changed your hair to feel ‘acceptable’?”, “What would protection really look like on campus?”.  
This conversation will be facilitated by Sydelle O’Brien, Interim Manager – Gender and Sexuality Resource Center.
