In fall 2025, the Biology department will offer paid research opportunities for students to gain hands-on laboratory experience under the mentorship of faculty. During this semester-long experience, students will learn in-demand biotechnology techniques, such as nanopore sequencing and gene editing, while earning $15 an hour!
 
During the info session, you’ll meet the faculty mentors that will lead the research experience and learn about the program details and requirements to see if it’s the right fit for you.
 
While the opportunity is open to all students, priority will be given to students with an interest in biotechnology, biology and STEM fields.
