Friday, March 4 | 10:20 to 11:20 a.m. | Link provided upon registration

Presenters: Honorable Joffie Pittman; Billy Love, Esq., associate professor of Criminal Justice; Elizabeth Canapary, Esq., assistant professor of Criminal Justice; Keir Grey, Esq.; and Sonte Reavis, Esq.

The Fox Rothschild Center for Law and Society's fifth annual mock oral argument will examine the pending case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, in which the supreme court will decide whether Mississippi's law banning abortion under fifteen weeks is unconstitutional. The resulting decision could have a significant effect on abortion rights in the United States, and could effectively overturn Roe v. Wade. Mr. Sonte Reavis, Esq., will argue on behalf of the petitioners, and Elizabeth Canapary, Esq., will argue on behalf of the respondents.
