Please join FCTL Fellow Dr. Amena Coronado in the first meeting of her Community of Practice on online learning: Finding ourselves in an unforeseen and radically different learning environment in the 2020-2021 school year, it is critical to our students’ development and well-being to identify and employ strategies and techniques that will foster engagement in the online setting. In the first workshop, we will discuss syllabus form, purpose, and its role in promoting student engagement. We will also discuss communication policy design and the varieties of methods and softwares that can be employed in service of communication in online courses.
