Train to Be a Paid Poll Worker

Poll workers play a vital role in ensuring elections run smoothly. Each year, Philadelphia relies on thousands of poll workers to support local, state and national elections. On election day, poll workers help open and close the polls, check in voters and keep voting lines moving. Poll workers earn $200 for the day, plus $50 for training after completing their election day assignment. To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and registered to vote in Philadelphia. Sign up to serve as a poll worker and attend a training on Main Campus this October.
