Calling all students who perform poetry, rap, and theatrical monologues:

Be a contestant on CCPTV's Six-Time Emmy-nominated show Drop the Mic!

The top 3 winners of the Final Showcase receive prizes:

  • 1st Place/Grand Prize: Three hours of FREE studio time at the Music Department’s Spring Garden Records studio, the official record label of Community College of Philadelphia
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place: Video performances featured on CCP’s Instagram and Facebook

*All contestants will receive CCP swag

Audition Show Dates/Times/Campus/Room:

  • Friday, October 11, 10:30am - 2:30pm, NERC, Room 124
  • Friday, October 18, 10:30am - 2:30pm, CATC, Room 341 A/B
  • Friday, October 25, 10:30am - 2:30pm, Black Box Theater, BG-21

The Top 4 Winners of each Audition Show will perform in the Final Showcase.

Friday, November 1, 10:30am - 2:30pm, Great Hall, S2-19
