Spring Garden Records Presents: Artist in Residence Christopher Michael Stevens

Join us for a performance by our Artist in Residence, Christopher Michael Stevens, Grammy-nominated songwriter, Camden native and Temple graduate.  

Doors open at 5 p.m. Concert begins at 5:30 p.m.

About Christopher Michael Stevens

Chistopher has traveled the world as a member of the band Soundcheck with Tye Tribbett and G.A., and has been a touring musician with such artists as John Legend and Eric Roberson. He has formed two bands, Vertical Current and the Chris Stevens Quartet, in addition to working with several award-winning artists, including The Roots, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Darryl Hall, Michael McDonald, Eddie Levert, and Earth, Wind & Fire. In addition to releasing his own albums, Christopher has served as a musician, band leader, engineer, arranger, producer, and composer on dozens of albums with several artists.

Christopher played trumpet and flugelhorn on albums nominated for Grammy Awards®, including Diana Ross’ 2021 album “Thank You,” and has created scores for feature films and TV, as well as appearing in the 2016 Best Picture “La La Land” and the Netflix series “A League of Their Own.” He has also written more than 80 pieces for the music content creation site Splice, where he serves as a content creator.
