Transfer guides are created and maintained to help students and staff make appropriate course and program choices. The guides show how the requirements for the appropriate Community College of Philadelphia associate degree transfer to the bachelor's institution. It is, however, possible for program requirements at Community College of Philadelphia or the transfer institution to change without advanced notice.

(Note: All courses for the Associate in Art in Business-Accelerated degree are offered in either the four-week or seven-week format and either online or in the hybrid format, with on-campus sessions held on Saturdays.)
This transfer guide is developed in support of the dual admissions agreement between Community College of Philadelphia and Shippensburg University. It shows how the Associate in Art (A.A.) in Business-Accelerated at Community College of Philadelphia transfers to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) at Shippensburg University and then shows remaining requirements at Shippensburg University. Completion of the A.A. as described in this guide leads to junior standing in the B.S.B.A. at Shippensburg University.
Students can choose from the following Shippensburg University majors for the B.S.B.A: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance (Finance or Personal), Management (Management, Human Resource, or International), Management Information Systems, Marketing, Supply Chain Management (Supply Chain or Logistics).
*Shippensburg University requires Applied Calculus (MAT 181) for all business majors. However, completion of Community College of Philadelphia’s MATH 171 Calculus I will satisfy this requirement. Students who transfer with Community College of Philadelphia’s MATH 161 will complete MAT 181 after transferring to Shippensburg University.
