The guides show how the requirements for the appropriate Community College of Philadelphia associate degree transfer to the bachelor's institution. It is, however, possible for program requirements at Community College of Philadelphia or the transfer institution to change without advanced notice.

General Information:
This transfer guide is developed in support of the Statewide Transfer agreement between Community College of Philadelphia and West Chester University of Pennsylvania. It shows how the Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Business-General at Community College of Philadelphia transfers to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management at West Chester University and then shows remaining requirements at West Chester University. Completion of the A.A. as described in this guide leads to junior standing in the B.S. at West Chester University.
Students who earn the A.A. in Business-General at Community College of Philadelphia qualify for the benefits of core-to-core under what West Chester University calls "Academic Passport." In this, West Chester University agrees to accept the general education embedded in Community College of Philadelphia's Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees as meeting all the requirements of its undergraduate General Education requirements except for one Diversity course (3 credits). Core-to-core transfer does not alter the requirements of the student's major field of study.
The B.S. in Business Management at West Chester University is AACSB-accredited. It is available at West Chester University's Main Campus, the Philadelphia campus at 701 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA and online. Students enrolled in the Philadelphia campus receive a 10% tuition discount. Classes may be taken at any campus or online. Fall and Spring admission is available. Students may also begin taking classes during the summer before admission.
