General Information:

This transfer guide is developed in support of the dual admissions agreement between Drexel University and Community College of Philadelphia. It shows how the requirements for the A.A. in Business-General or Business-Accelerated at Community College of Philadelphia transfers to the Drexel University B.S. in Business Administration/Finance and the coursework required at Drexel University after transfer. To receive transfer credit, the courses must be substantially equivalent to courses offered in the curriculum at Drexel University and courses must be completed with a grade of C (C=2.0) or better. A 2.5 cumulative Community College of Philadelphia GPA must be earned to gain admission to Drexel University and this program. Drexel University operates on a quarter term and credit system. The semester credit to quarter credit conversion is not exact; degree completion at Community College of Philadelphia will allow the student to achieve the equivalent of third-year standing at Drexel University.

To earn a baccalaureate degree with the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), a student must complete a minimum of 123 credits, including: 90 credits from College of Liberal Arts and College of Science and Technology courses, 45 credits of which must be at the upper level (numbered 2000-4999). Of that, 6 credits must be outside the student's major division (e.g. Social Sciences or Humanities) Notes: The B.A. in Psychology at Temple University consists of 44 credits, including 40 credits in Psychology plus 4 credits in a designated science area. Per the CLA Residency Requirement, students must complete at least half of major credits at Temple University.
