Virtual New Student Orientation

Register for a 1-Hour Virtual New Student Orientation Session: January 7-8, 2021

Dear New Student:

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Community College of Philadelphia (CCP). On behalf of the entire College community, we wish you the best as you pursue your educational goals.

Beginning your college experience here at CCP is exciting, but during these unprecedented times can also be challenging. As you are aware due to COVID-19 public health concerns, all coursework for Spring 2021 will be primarily online. While we wish we had the opportunity to welcome you in person at an on-campus orientation session, please trust that you have a real, live community of faculty and staff who are committed to your success.

We want you to know you have an entire college community rooting for you! To help you succeed in these uncertain times, we invite you to participate in a one (1) hour Virtual New Student Orientation that will help you as you become a student at the College. During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow new students and Student Development staff who will help answer any questions and concerns you may have about starting your first semester at the College. You can register for one (1) of the five (5) available online sessions. RSVP for a Virtual Orientation by clicking your preferred session date/time below.

The Bookstore will be open from January 5-February 19 (M-F, 9am-5pm; Sat/Sun, Closed). All other campus bookstore locations will remain closed. The preferred and highly recommended method of ordering course materials and related supplies is by placing orders through the Bookstore website,, and having them shipped to students' homes.
