Fall 2024 Project Career Launch Mentor Orientation

The Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership is currently recruiting volunteers for the Project Career Launch program and will be holding an in-person orientation on October 2, 2024 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm in S2-3.
The program pairs young adult students on the autism spectrum with peer mentors to help them navigate through the college/university setting and transition into the workplace. The goal Project Career Launch is to improve the mentees’ ability to reach their education and career goals more independently. Volunteer mentors work with students in-person for 1 hour per week. Volunteers receive training, are supported by Project Career Launch staff, and learn strategies to best support their mentees.
