Volunteer as a Mentor this year!- Project Career Launch Information Session

The Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership is currently recruiting volunteers for the Project Career Launch program and will be holding an in-person information session on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 1:30pm-2:30pm in the Winnet Student Life Building (S3-07).
The program pairs young adult students on the autism spectrum with peer mentors to help them navigate through the college/university setting and transition into the workplace. The goal Project Career Launch is to improve the mentees’ ability to reach their education and career goals more independently. Volunteer mentors work with students in-person for 1 hour per week. Volunteers receive training, are supported by Project Career Launch staff, and learn strategies to best support their mentees.
To RSVP, please select "I will attend" here on the Pride Portal on contact Michael Miles at mmiles@ccp.edu
