The Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership invites you volunteer with us at Books Through Bars on Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 1:30pm-3:30pm! Books Through Bars is an organization that sends books to those who are incarcerated in local, state, and federal prisons. Books Through Bars receive letters from inmates requesting books and then utilize volunteers to select the books from their library and package them prior to them being shipped. They are located on 4722 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA. 19143. 
Those who sign up are asked to please arrive promptly at 1:30pm on the day of our service! Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
