National Nurses Week (May 6-12)

National Nurses Week 

May 6 -12, 2024 marks the American Nurses Association (ANA) annual celebration of National Nurses Week, which will extend throughout the entire month of May. This year’s theme is, “Nurses Make the Difference”. According to the ANA Nursing World website, America has over 5 million registered nurses. In support of nurses, a national campaign to “illuminate the spirit of nursing excellence” the “#NursesLightUptheSky” hashtag was created. Cities across the country will light up landmark buildings to recognize the important role nurses play in healthcare. 

The following locations in the Philadelphia area will light up the sky in honor of nurses:

1735 Market Street (May 6-8)
PECO Building (May 6, May 9-12)
TRIAD1828 CENTRE (Date TBD)
