Eventually I thought Community College of Philadelphia was a really good choice because it was inexpensive and pretty accessible. When I first came here I was a Psychology major. Even though I liked psychology, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with it. So I remember thinking to myself, out of all of the things I’ve done throughout life, what’s the link between them all? And I realized, I’ve always liked art. Most of my hobbies were somehow related to art. I remember when I was in high school, I went through a phase where I wanted to be a fashion designer. I used to play piano for a little bit. Things like that. I decided to be an Art and Design major.

I think the reason why I ended up with graphic design is because I like the concept of… we’ll call it “marketable art”—making flyers, stuff like that for events. I like the concept of, "I’m being creative but it’s for a business aspect.
