Learning Goals 

  • Review and discuss comments on the 2020 plan from the Cabinet and the Board of Trustees. 
  • Discuss lessons learned from the COVID-19 event and how to be prepared for future pandemic events. 
  • Review potential training activities for division and department plans. 

Program Description 

After the spring and summer 2020 interruption to business and educational activities at the College due to COVID-19, we will look to find lessons learned from this event and how to be better prepared for similar events in the future. In addition, the Cabinet and the Board of Trustees are expected to review the final College Disaster Recovery Plan over the summer and there may be comments, questions and suggestions from these stakeholders who have the same interest as the leads who developed individual plans - to help ensure the safety and well being of staff and students before, during and after a business interruption, and to be prepared for the necessary recovery steps when it is appropriate to return to the campuses.
