Priority Web Registration

Summer 2024 Priority Web Registration Starts on Monday, March 18, 2024.

Priority Web Registration for Winter and Spring 2024 will begin for eligible students on the dates indicated below. MyCCP will be open for web registration at all times EXCEPT 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. Successfully completed credits, including transfer credits, determine the dates Priority Web Registration will be permitted.

Summer 2024 Web Registration

Web registration for all eligible students starts Monday, March 18, 2024.

Online registration will be available at all times EXCEPT 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. Students may add or drop classes before the start of the term assigned to the course.

Registration for students on academic probation begins Monday, March 25, 2024.

Students on academic probation are not permitted to register online and must contact the Counseling to register.

Guest Student registration starts Tuesday, March 26, 2024

 

Fall 2024 Web Registration

Web registration for all eligible students starts Monday, April 15, 2024.

Online registration will be available at all times EXCEPT 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 2 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. Students may add or drop classes before the start of the term assigned to the course.

Registration for students on academic probation begins Monday, April 15, 2024.

Students on academic probation are not permitted to register online and must contact the Counseling to register.

Guest Student registration starts Tuesday, April 16, 2024

Continuing Students

Students should view their "My Degree Path" and meet with an academic advisor or counselor before they register.

  • Currently enrolled students who are in good academic standing should meet with an advisor for an in-person, Zoom, or phone appointment. Here are the steps to schedule an Academic Advising appointment.
  • Students who are on academic probation should contact Counseling.

Requesting Credit Overload/Override Permission

Overload

The College grants overloads to students who have earned at least fifteen (15) college-level credits at Community College of Philadelphia and are in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 cumulative CCP GPA.

Students who wish to enroll in more than 18 credit hours during the Fall or Spring semester, more than 8 credit hours in Early Summer or Late Summer, or more than 4 credits in Winter term must request approval prior to registration.  For approval, please complete the Credit Overload form. To access this form, log into MyCCP, click "Student Services," go to the Electronic Forms section, and click "Records & Registration Forms.

Guest/Visiting students seeking a credit overload should reference specific instructions under the Guest Student section.

Students approved for an overload will be required to pay for the additional credits and therefore students are encouraged to verify their Financial Aid funding as soon as possible. 

Override

Students on academic probation requesting additional credits to be taken during a probation semester must request an "override." Override requests must be made by meeting with a Counselor by appointment. Instructions on scheduling an appointment and additional information can be found here

Guest/Visiting Students

Web registration for Guest/Visiting Students  begins Tuesday, March 26, 2024 for Summer 2024 and on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 for Fall 2024.

New Guest and Visiting students must login to MyCCP and click on "Records and Registration Forms" under Electronic Forms, and complete the online Guest/Visiting Student form. Learn more

To use web registration, you must have an active MyCCP account. Follow the instructions for first-time users if you have never logged in to your MyCCP account. To enroll in classes, follow the web registration instructions in the Web Registration Guide.

Guest/Visiting Students Requesting Course Overload

Guest/Visiting students seeking to enroll in more than 18 credit hours during the fall or spring semester OR more than 8 credit hours in Early Summer or more than 8 credit hours in Late Summer, MUST request approval PRIOR to registration. To qualify, students must have earned at least 15 college-level credits AND have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students must specify Overload Request in the "Comments" section of the online Guest/Visiting Student form. To access this form, login to MyCCP and click "Records and Registration Forms" located in the Electronic Forms channel.

All Guest/Visiting Students, including students receiving financial aid at their home institutions, are required to pay for their courses by the payment due date.

Note: Students are advised to consult with their home institution before taking courses at Community College of Philadelphia. The College assumes no responsibility for student registration decisions.

Senior Citizens

The College offers a discounted rate per semester to senior citizens on a limited, space-available basis. Eligible seniors are required to pay a $159.00 course registration fee.  This fee is based on the tuition rate for a Philadelphia resident for one credit hour and is non-refundable as of the first day of class.

Eligibility requirements:

  • At least 65 years of age
  • Philadelphia resident

Important information:

  • Course prerequisites must be completed to permit registration
  • Discount applies to one course (credit level) and is non-refundable as of the first day of classThe discount is based on the tuition rate for a Philadelphia resident for one-credit hour. (Course Fees included. Digital Course Materials NOT included.)
  • Discount will NOT apply to registration performed PRIOR to the Senior Citizen registration dates
  • Auditing a course requires approval from the instructor immediately following registration

Senior citizens applying for the discounted rate may obtain the Senior Citizen Application Form by emailing  for assistance with enrolling.
