Bucknell Transfer Scholarship Information Session

This could be a life-changing experience for you!

Through the generosity of Bucknell University (BU), eligible Community College of Philadelphia students will have an opportunity to receive financial and administrative support to earn a bachelor’s degree at BU. The Bucknell Community Scholars Program provides need-based tuition scholarships for two years of full-time enrollment, and additional financial aid may be available to assist with room, board, books, etc.

We are now in the process of recruiting students for summer 2020, with the possibility of transferring to BU for fall 2020. In the summer, students live on campus and take two transferable courses. There is no cost to the students; in fact, they receive a weekly stipend. Students must be in an A.A. or A.S. degree programs, have a current GPA of 3.5 or better and have completed 12 to 30 college credits.

  • A student’s income is considered in reference to eligibility.  A dependent student’s family can earn no more than $60,000 Adjusted Gross Income, a married student no more than $45,000 and an independent student no more than $30,000.

To learn more about this amazing opportunity, please R.S.V.P. to Todd Jones at 215-751-8177 or tjones@ccp.edu if you plan to attend or are in general interested in the opportunity.  It’s OK to express interest after these dates as the application deadline is in February.
