Vaccinations and Testing

Due to City of Philadelphia mandates, anyone who comes to the College who is not fully vaccinated will be tested before they will be permitted on campus. Masks are required. Starting Oct. 15, all faculty, staff and students must be fully vaccinated. Please see our College COVID-19 Updates for more information.

College Vaccination Requirements

In order to prioritize the health and safety of the College community amidst the pandemic, students, faculty and staff will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 15, 2021. Beginning Oct. 15, students, faculty and staff who remain unvaccinated without an approved exemption will not be permitted on campus.

Masks will be required through the fall semester for all faculty, staff and students on our campuses, regardless of vaccination status.

The College will continue to enforce six-foot social distancing for all on campus and will operate at approximately 50 percent capacity this fall.

Vybe Urgent Care at 1500 Spring Garden Street will continue to offer vaccines free of charge. You can find a vaccination site near you by visiting the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s (PDPH) vaccine resource page or www.vaccines.gov

You can also watch medical experts in our Enough Is Enough session from February discuss COVID-19 vaccines and answer common questions.

Information for Students

Anyone who comes to campus and is not fully vaccinated by Oct. 1 will be subject to regular on-site COVID testing. A negative test will be required for those students to enter our facilities. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will immediately be asked to leave.

Beginning in fall 2021, students who are not fully vaccinated, and who do not qualify for a medical or religious exemption, will not be permitted on campus and are encouraged to take classes online.

The College will be announcing incentives for receiving a COVID-19 vaccination at a later date, and a link where students can upload their vaccination information and a copy of their vaccination card will be forthcoming.

Students who qualify for a medical or religious exemption will be subject to regular on-site COVID testing. To see if you qualify for a valid medical or religious exemption, please complete the Student Vaccine Exemption form and email it to to vaccine@ccp.edu.

Students, if you have any questions, please submit them here.

Information for Faculty and Staff

Employees will need to upload their vaccination information and a copy of their card to MyCCP to ensure their vaccination status is updated in the system. A link will be forthcoming. If you are seeking a valid medical or religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine, please complete the Employee Vaccine Exemption form to see if you qualify and email it to employeevaccine@ccp.edu

Beginning Oct. 1, 2021, faculty and staff who qualify for a valid medical or religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine and are working on campus will be subject to regular COVID testing. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted on campus and immediately be asked to leave.

Counseling regarding the vaccine will be available to faculty and staff who are not vaccinated.
