Learning Goals:
We will explore effective use of Canvas features to engage with students, provide better feedback about grades, and communicate with students. We will also look at time saving tricks and features of Canvas that help streamline a course and ensure that it runs smoothly.

Program Description:
A similar session ran last year to a packed room. In this session, we'll review some of the best Canvas features, tips, and tricks to help run your classes smoothly. Importantly, we'll look at the Canvas features from the student point of view so you know how to guide students to resources that help them engage with you. We'll look at how to structure quizzes, exams, assignments and manage grades and bulk communications. Everyone, from the novice to the experienced Canvas user, will come away with some useful skills to help manage both online and face-to-face classes and improve student outcomes.
