Melissa Bartley

Melissa BartleyMelissa joined the college in January 2017 as the Assistant Director and Financial Education Coordinator of Single Stop. Along with connecting students with benefits and resources, Melissa also facilitates Financial Literacy workshops for groups and classes throughout the year. Prior to her work at CCP, Melissa worked for sixteen years in Social Services, both with women and children and homeless families. Melissa was a first-generation college student, first attending Howard University and holding a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from West Chester University and a Master of Science in Higher Education from Drexel University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Student Success at Drexel. Melissa enjoys reading, writing short stories, and cooking/baking for her family. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys serving the community through various sorority initiatives.

Cory Dulaney

Cory DulaneyCory Dulaney is an educator dedicated to ensuring Black folks have the tools, information, and support they need to fulfill their purpose and uplift their communities. Moving from Pittsburghto Philadelphia in 2012, Cory attended graduate school at Temple University where his focuswas Afrocentric Education. His work centers on post-secondary school education and he has >over 10 years of higher education experience. Before his job at CCP, Cory served as the Student Engagement Manager at Campus Philly – a non-profit organization that connects students from 37 colleges and universities in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Since 2019 Cory has been a Support Coach at the Center for Male Engagement where his role is to provide culturally informed support, resources, and tools for Black men at the Community College, both cognitive and non-cognitive. Cory also is on the Mutual Aid Team for BLM Philly, part of Leadership Philadelphia’s 2019 Keepers class, and a volunteer with Men Who Care of Germantown / Philadelphia Outward Bound School and many other organizations in the Philadelphia community. He also is a DJ / capoeirista / cyclist / and rock climber!

Beverly Halsey

Beverly HalseyBeverly joined the College in 2019 and is the Manager of Employer Partnerships in the CareerConnections Department. Beverly oversees the employer-student engagement for the department. She develops partnerships with employers to recruit and hire CCP students and alumni as well as provide experiential learning opportunities to our students. Prior to working at CCP, Beverly worked as an Internship Coordinator for Mastery Charter School in South Philadelphia. Beverly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Jewell College in Missouri, a Master of Science in Science of Psychology from University of Phoenix, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trinity University in Washington, DC. She is an active volunteer at Watch God Move Deliverance ministries where she is the Director of Community Engagement and Youth Ministries. In Beverly’s spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Tyrone Hill

Tyrone HillTyrone joined the College in July of 2019 and is currently Facilities Coordinator in the Office of Facilities Management and Construction. He oversees work order distribution and reconciliation of work orders, works with the AVP and the Director of Construction to process Payment Applications for Capital projects. He also has the task of managing the Facilities operating Budget and Fleet Management. Tyrone is a recipient of the prestigious “FMP” certification and is recognized by his peers as a Facilities Management Professional. He has expertise in Project Management, Business and Finances, Operations and Maintenance along with Leadership and Strategic principles. Tyrone is a Middle school rec league basketball coach for his 12-year-old son and a Diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan! E-A-G-L-E-S.... Eagle.

Francine Lukacik

Francine LubacikFran is an assistant professor in the Department of Allied Health. She has been with the College for 30 years, first as an adjunct and then in 2007 became full time. Prior to joining the College full time, Fran had a 28-year career as a clinical dietitian and food service director in various hospitals in the Philadelphia area.Fran holds a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Applied Technology from Chestnut Hill College. Fran is a volunteer official with US Figure Skating. She has a national appointment as a music coordinator and a regional appointment as an announcer. She supports ice skating competitions cross the United States. Fran is an animal lover, especially cats. Fran’s interests also include cooking, gardening,and the history of first ladies.

Hannah McGarry

Hannah McGarryHannah joined the College in March of 2014 as the Director of Operations for the Workforce and Economic Innovation Department. She works with her team to ensure the smooth daily operations of non-credit, professional development programming at the College. Prior to joining the College, she worked at JEVS Human Services as the Director of Education at Orleans Technical College working with faculty and students in the trades industry. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts, in Economics, from Rutgers University and a Master of Education from Temple University. In her free time, she is the Chair of the Social Committee for her Homeowner’s Association where she plans events for her small community. She is an avid crafter and reader. Her favorite past time is spending time with her husband, 3 daughters, and son-in-law.

Elizabeth Mead

Elizabeth MeadElisabeth joined the College full-time in November of 2015, supporting the HRIS and Benefits functions of HR, having stepped into that role via a temp agency a few months earlier. In 2019, they were promoted to HRIS Analyst, facilitating the payroll process, and managing employee data and reports. Before coming to CCP, they held a variety of HR positions in organizations outside of higher education, in the staffing, mortgage and wholesale sectors. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Rochester and a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University. Elisabeth originally hails from Queens, NY and is an avid home cook and baker, who takes special pride in their pizza-making skills.

Ritanne O'Brien Duszak

Ritanne O'Brien DuszakRitanne joined the College in 2020 and is an Instructor in the Department of Allied Health. Prior to joining the College, she was an Instructor in the Health & Exercise Science Department at owan University and an adjunct Instructor at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College. Ritanne is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (now Stockton University), a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Drexel University. Ritanne is active in various activities promoting physical activity among both youth and adults, including the South Jersey Track & Field Club, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Triathlon Team and the Philadelphia Women’s Distance Project.

Brian O'Doherty

Brian O'DohertyBrian O'Doherty joined the college in February 2019 as an Admissions Recruiter with the Office of Admissions. Brian works with prospective students to assist them through the admissions process and works with area high schools, community partners and CBO's to help student understand what CCP has to offer. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Tourism and Hospitality Department at CCP and at Drexel University. Prior to joining the college Brian was a Senior Recruiter at Harrah's Philadelphia which is under the Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Brian has also worked in college admissions for 10 years at various public and private institutions. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Albright College and an MBA from Rosemont College. Brian currently resides in Glenolden, PA with his wife and 2 children. In his spare time, he is a Lieutenant at the Norwood Volunteer Fire Company. He is also a volunteer coach for the Ridley Raider Youth Lacrosse Program and the Ridley Park Parker Youth Football program.

Jennifer Schneider

Jennifer SchneiderJennifer joined the College full-time in 2020 and is an Assistant Professor of Paralegal Studies in the Department of Social Sciences. She also serves as Coordinator for the College’s Paralegal Studies Program as well as its Legal Internship. Jennifer has over fifteen years of experience teaching in online and higher education learning environments. She has served as a faculty team lead, subject matter expert, curriculum developer, and course designer for a variety of criminal justice, business, and entrepreneurship programs. Prior to teaching full-time, she worked as an attorney at both Ropes & Gray LLP and Morgan, Lewis, Bockius. Jennifer holds an Ed.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina. She earned her J.D.degree from the New York University School of Law. She is active in a variety of non-profit organizations, with a particular emphasis on educational non-profits in underserved communities and countries. In her free time, she reads, writes, and spends as much time outdoors as possible.

Danyelle Watson-Young

Danyelle Watson-YoungDanyelle joinedthe College in February of 2013. As a Student Success Support Coach in the Office of Student Success Initiatives, she provides direct outreach to students who have been identified as at-risk based on the College’s Starfish Connect Early Alert System to ensure utilization of the resources and support services at the College. Danyelle worked as a career services coordinator at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance prior to joining the College. Danyelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Geneva College and a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. Danyelle is active in her community as a Delaware County Literacy Center volunteer, a community events organizer, the director of the Audrey Bronson Food Cupboard outreach ministry, and the director of the Women of Praise outreach ministry. Some of her hobbies include golfing, reading and storytelling, crafting, and making jewelry.

Sharon Williams

Sharon WilliamsSharon joined the College in 2018 and is the Single Stop Specialist and Regional Centers Coordinator. She oversees the Single Stop program at the Regional Centers and provides services and resources to students who may not be able to travel to the Main Campus. She assists with benefit applications, resources and referrals for food, housing and legal assistance and facilitates the tax preparation operation during tax season. She also helps review Emergency Fund and Basic Needs Fund applications and awarding of those funds to students in need. Prior to joining the College, she worked as a middle school grade tutor for the Chester Community Charter School and as a Site Coordinator with Education Works, Inc. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Since 2016 she has been a volunteer with Strive for College serving as a mentor to high school students in the country who may need additional support and guidance as they are embarking on their college application journey. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Karen Yancey

Karen YanceyKaren Yancey joined Community College as an Assistant Professor in 2016. She teaches economics and statistics for the department of Business and Technology. Additionally, since Karen’s tenure at the College began, she has redesigned and implemented economic and statistics curriculum for ground and online classes; served as the Assessment Coordinator for the department and redesigned the assessment criteria for economic and statistic courses; wrote new and revised course documents; mentored new faculty; and advised students to ensure student success and fulfillment of graduation requirements. Prior to teaching, Karen spent 15 years in the investment arena, working with Dean Witter, as a Stockbroker; Morgan Stanley, as a Manager in the Asset Management division; and as Deputy Treasurer for the City of Philadelphia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Statistics and a Master of Arts in Economics from Temple University Fox School. She also earned a master’s in government administration and a Certificate in Data Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania.
