Dating in the Digital Age: Join Us for This Annual College Discussion in Honor of AIDS Education Month

Dating is historically tricky! Individuals today are facing a number of oppressive and false pressures when it comes to digital influences. The increased perception of normalality through the lens of society seems to have made simple relationships a thing of the past. Increasingly, detached modes of interaction make it harder to connect. From Tinder to Grindr and everything in between, people are relying on social apps to mediate intimate interactions.

Join the Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership in partnership with Philadelphia FIGHT as we discuss online safety, disclosure, self-esteem, avoiding stigmatized language and navigating relationships in the digital age.

A light lunch will be provided to all registered attendees. Plus, eligible participants can earn Continuing Education credits. For questions, please email the Institute for Community Engagement and Civic Leadership at institute@ccp.edu.

*RSVP by Monday, June 17. This event will take place in the Klein Cube of the Pavilion Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25.
