Saxbys, a new student-run cafe on Main Campus, opened on Main Campus on September 7. This new partnership will allow College students to gain valuable leadership and work experience while earning pay and academic credits. During the grand opening event, attendees had the chance to meet the two inaugural Student Cafe Executive Officers (SCEOs), Imira Roussaw and Nysair Brooks, in addition to ordering from Saxbys’ classic drinks, new line of energy drinks, and limited-edition grilled cheese sandwiches: the "Cheesesteak Wit" and "Old Bay Tot.” Both the College and Saxbys are committed to empowering students to take charge of their futures through the development of social, managerial, and leadership skills necessary to succeed in modern business environments.
