On Friday, May 4, members of the College community boarded the Spirit of Philadelphia to celebrate our 2018 graduates and celebrate the closing of another year of student success. Decked out in all-white attire, guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and music.
The College and Philadelphia community gathered on May 14 for the Pathways Magazine breakfast and Partnerships with a Purpose panel discussion. The Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, president of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation and vice president of Community Affairs at Independence Blue Cross, was featured in this issue of Pathways and provided remarks on the importance of corporate responsibility. The College recognized Adminisitrative Professionals Day on April 25 with an Administrative Professionals’ Tea, recognizing the work of the administrative staff across the College community. The 34th annual Classified/Confidential Employees luncheon was held on Wednesday, May 9. Years of service certificates were given to staff to recognize and thank them for their dedication to the College, including three staff employees who have been with the College for 45 years.
The Academic Awards ceremony was held on May 4 at 6 p.m. in the Bonell Building Large Auditorium. The annual event celebrates the accomplishments of our talented, determined and hard-working students.
The Nursing program celebrated a milestone on May 4, 2018, graduating the College's 50th Nursing class at the annual Nursing Pinning Ceremony. Congratulations graduates, and the best of luck to all of you.
