Fostering Caring Connections

Fostering Caring Connections is a program that connects students with experience in the foster care system with needed resources, including:

  • Campus Food Pantry
  • Emergency Funds Scholarship
  • Shelter and Housing resources
  • On-campus support services on campus (i.e., advising, counseling, tutoring and more)

Eligibility

In order to qualify for the Fostering Caring Connections program, you must be currently enrolled at Community College of Philadelphia and must identify with the following statements that you:

  • Have had experience in the foster care system
  • Are an unaccompanied youth (without a caretaker, living in a temporary setting outside or elsewhere)
  • Lived in a group home shelter or group care setting
  • Lived in an independent living program through a social work agency
  • Another, but similar, situation
